JOS TOWN AMBASSADORS AND SOLCI UNDERTAKE COMMUNITY SANITATION EXERCISE AT DUTSE UKWU WARD 🧹🌍

In keeping with their shared commitment to community service and environmental sustainability, members and volunteers of Jos Town Ambassadors (JTA) and Sentinel Oasis for Love Care Initiative (SOLCI) today carried out a sanitation exercise at Dutse Uku Ward.

The exercise commenced in the early hours of the morning, with participants assembling at the designated meeting point opposite the Dutse Uku Primary Health Centre at about 7:00 a.m. From there, volunteers proceeded to the sanitation site, where cleaning activities began at approximately 7:30 a.m.

Armed with brooms, rakes, shovels, and a strong sense of civic duty, the volunteers worked diligently to clear refuse and improve the cleanliness of the environment, while also promoting the importance of collective responsibility in keeping our communities healthy and attractive.

Their dedication and determination ensured that meaningful progress was made within the available time and resources.

As the exercise drew to a close shortly before 9:00 a.m., representatives of SOLCI and Pam Chuwang, speaking on behalf of Jos Town Ambassadors, expressed appreciation to all members and volunteers who turned out despite the challenges encountered.

In his remarks, Pam Chuwang encouraged participants not to be discouraged by circumstances beyond their control but to remain committed to service. He reminded them that lasting change is achieved through consistency, sacrifice, and a willingness to act, even when conditions are not ideal.

The sanitation exercise concluded successfully, with participants departing at 10:00 a.m., inspired to continue making a positive impact in their communities.

πŸ‘πŸ½ We salute all volunteers and partners who continue to give their time and energy towards building a cleaner, healthier, and more beautiful Jos.
