Yesterday the National Human Rights Commission (NHRC) extended a special invitation to JTA to participate in its annual commemoration of International Human Rights Day, and it was truly an honour to stand alongside advocates, institutions, and citizens committed to justice and equality. βπ½βοΈ
JTA was ably represented by Pam, Yachit, and Isaac, who joined the awareness walk πΆπ½ββοΈπΆπ½ββοΈπΆπ½ββοΈ and engaged in conversations centered on dignity, inclusion, and the protection of fundamental rights for all. The atmosphere was vibrantβfilled with purpose, solidarity, and the shared belief that every voice matters. π¬π€
The walk was not just symbolic; it was a reminder that progress requires collective action. It strengthened our resolve at JTA to continue advocating for fairness, accountability, and human rights education. πβ¨ We connected with partners, listened to stories, and reaffirmed our commitment to supporting vulnerable groups.
Indeed, it was a fruitful walk, one that renewed our passion for the work we do and reminded us of the power of unity in driving societal change. π±π
As we mark International Human Rights Day, JTA remains steadfast in its mission:
to ensure that every individual enjoys the full protection and benefits of their human rights. π‘οΈπ
Together, we move forward β stronger, louder, and more determined.
